ปัจจุบันประเทศตุรกียังคงมองหาพลังงานทดแทนอื่น ๆ เพิ่มเติมอีก เพื่อเป็นประเทศแรกของยุโรปที่ผลิตไฟฟ้าจากพลังงานทดแทนได้มากที่สุด
